Post Graduate Certificate in Education and Training

Through research, evaluation, and role play, participants will become innovative, reflective educators, ready to teach in the 21st century.

This postgraduate certificate course is specifically designed to enhance educators' knowledge and skills in 21st-century teaching practices. Through in-depth exploration of the nature and dynamics of teaching, the course encourages educators to adopt a range of cutting-edge teaching strategies.

The aims are to provide a qualification that:
Critically review learning theories to help them understand and develop their own professional practice and learners' learning. Design lessons and materials that meet curriculum and learners' needs. Evaluate strategies used to facilitate the learners' learning to help them progress and achieve learning outcomes. Evaluate teaching methodologies and their effectiveness in classroom management and students' learning. Analyze how formative assessment guides instruction and monitor the learners' progress; Evaluate their own professional practice, classroom management, lesson delivery and their impact on learners and their learning.

Course Modules:	PGCET101. Education in the 21st Century and Pedagogy in Education PGCET102. Classroom Management and Teaching Methodologies PGCET103. Assessment and Feedback and Educator's Professional Development PGCET104 Practicum (Industrial Attachment)
The manner of Teaching:	Lectures, tutorials and project assignments will be conducted within Trinity International College.
Mode of Assessment:	Assignment and Presentation Group work project/ Presentation Individual Teaching Assessment of Performance in Teaching (APT) Learners' Reflection Book
Duration:	Full-Time (Monday – Friday 3 Hours Daily) 3 Months Studies + 3 Months Industrial Attachment 3 Months Studies (Total 180 Hours), Face-to-face
